Validation, Verification & Registry Management
Validation and verification are the independent audits that turn a project design into issued credits on a registry. We author the project documents, manage the validation/verification body (VVB), and run the registry listing and issuance process end to end.
What it is
Validation confirms the project design is sound; verification confirms the removals actually happened. Both are conducted by an accredited, independent body — and both can stall a project when documentation is weak or data is inconsistent.
We prepare the project for audit, author the project design document, coordinate the VVB, and manage registry listing through to issuance. Our job is to make the audit boring: no surprises, no avoidable corrective actions.
Who it's for
- Developers approaching validation or their first verification
- Projects that stalled in audit and need to recover
- Operators and FPOs needing registry and issuance management
- Investors wanting issuance risk actively managed
Our process
- 01
Document & list
We author the project design document and supporting evidence and list the project on the chosen registry.
- 02
Validate
We coordinate the validation body, manage clarifications and close out any findings efficiently.
- 03
Verify & issue
We prepare the monitoring evidence, manage verification, and steward the project through credit issuance.
What you get
- Project design document (PDD) and evidence pack
- Registry listing and account management
- VVB selection and audit coordination
- Corrective-action and clarification management
- Issued, registry-traceable carbon-removal credits
FAQs
Validation, Verification & Registry: common questions
What is the difference between validation and verification?
Validation is an independent check of the project design before or early in implementation; verification is the independent check that the claimed removals genuinely occurred, against monitored data. Credits are issued after successful verification.
Which registries do you work with?
We work across the leading durable-removal pathways — Verra VM0044, Puro.earth and Isometric, plus Gold Standard where it fits — and remain registry-neutral, recommending the route that best matches your project and buyers.
Can you help a project that failed an audit?
Often, yes. We diagnose why findings arose — usually documentation gaps or inconsistent MRV data — strengthen the evidence base, and manage the re-audit. Outcomes depend on the specifics and cannot be guaranteed.

Biochar MRV (Digital MRV)
Biochar MRV — measurement, reporting and verification — is how a project proves each tonne of CO₂ it removes. We design conservative, audit-ready MRV systems, including digital MRV (dMRV) that captures production and application data at source so verification is faster and disputes are rarer.

Biochar carbon project development is the end-to-end process of turning a biomass resource into issued, sellable carbon-removal credits.
